Scent Characteristics: strong, herbaceous, and leathery with a green back note
History: Tea Tree belongs to a family of nearly 200 species of evergreen trees native to Australia. Little is known about the historical use of the tree, except that its leaves were made into a tea by Aboriginal tribes. Captain Cook and his crewmen reportedly liked drinking this tea. The tribes also made poultices by mixing the leaves with clay.
