Scent Characteristics: warm, very spicy, woody with a subnote of leather
History: Clove Bud has a history of use in love potions. Ayurvedic healers use it to treat fevers, digestive problems and other ailments. In Africa, it is used to increase milk in lactating mothers. Clove buds were often added to apple cider vinegar and drunk to treat headaches. It is most often used for toothaches. Even today, dentists have Clove Bud oil in their shots to numb the gums.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM: asthma, bronchitis,
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM: colic, dyspepsia, nausea
IMMUNE SYSTEM: colds, flu, minor infections
Advisory: Skin and mucous membrane irritant. Must be diluted at 1% or less in a massage oil. Do not use in pregnancy, with babies/children, or the elderly.
