      too heavy and stiff

      Years ago, I bought 4 Grandpa's Garden heating pads when they were sold on QVC. They are the best by far...in fact, having used them so much, I had to repair a few minor holes in one so I bought some iron-on fabric swatches that fixed the few very small holes. I will not give up the 2 I have...my daughter and son took the other 2. But my question is: why are they no longer sold? I bought these new ones pretty much out of desperation. Frankly, they are far too heavy and stiff for me to use. My husband will use one as he's "okay" with it---not thrilled, though; and I'll give the other one to my son-in-law hoping he can use it. I also find that they do not heat-up as easily as the original ones I have. We need to put them on 4 to 5 minutes in our microwave. So, I will continue to repair, and not replace, my old ones. I WOULD NOT ORDER THESE AGAIN! I need a heating pad that is lighter weight on the muscles or pain that I am trying to soothe. Also, anything I saw on-line or in the catalog that is not "weighted" is far too large. The Perfect Wrap and The Body Shawl might be similar to what I presently own, but they are much larger. My old reliable one is the perfect size for fitting in my microwave. Not everyone has a huge, powerful microwave. Bring back the the style you sold through QVC, and I'd be a much happier camper in Grandpa's Garden.

      Well shaped and well baffled but we have another of this type of product that has what feels like beans in it and that works much better.

      Love the product. I unfortunately purchased the wrong one. I thought this was rectangular like my two previous Grandpas Garden heating pads. The picture did not clearly show this had a cutout for the neck. I would have preferred the rectangular version. Thank you.

      It would be perfect if the shoulder “channels” weren’t packed so stiffly which make it uncomfortable

      The wrap drapes over the shoulders with ease, and radiates heat well. functions well as a hand and lap warmer too.
